Jun 26, 2019 | sapsasa, sport

Port Noarlunga Primary School students Abigail and Lucy were ecstatic to be selected in the Onkaparinga South netball team, which competed in the SAPSASA Netball Championships at Suncorp Stadium last week.

The 10-player squad played against other state district sides, totaling 9 games over four days, and celebrated 3 victories.

Abigail played Wing Defence, Goal Keeper, and Goal Defence. “It was an amazing experience playing at Priceline Stadium. The other teams were challenging and we learned a lot,” she said.

Lucy played Center, Wing Attack, and Wing Defence. “It was a fantastic opportunity,” she said. “Some games were challenging but we learned teamwork, and co-operation and great new skills.”

Congratulations to our netball stars for this outstanding achievement!
