We believe that fostering a supportive and understanding environment is crucial for the holistic development of our students. The Open Parachute program is a significant step towards ensuring that every student feels valued, understood, and equipped to face life’s challenges.
Welcome to 2025! ☀️
As we step into the new year, we are excited to embrace fresh opportunities and initiatives that will enhance the educational experience for our students and staff. One of the key highlights for 2025 is the introduction of the Open Parachute Wellbeing Program.
This innovative program is designed to support the mental health and wellbeing of students across South Australia. Open Parachute offers a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on building resilience, emotional intelligence, and coping strategies.
The program includes:
Interactive Lessons
Engaging activities and discussions that encourage students to explore their emotions and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
Teacher Support
Resources and training for educators to effectively facilitate wellbeing discussions and provide support to students.
Parental Involvement
Tools and information to help parents support their children’s mental health journey at home. See the PDF provided by Open Parachute linked below. This includes a video introduction and a link to access the online library.
Together, we can make 2025 a year of growth, resilience, and success for all.
