Porties Student Wins Mayor’s Christmas Card Competition

Dec 7, 2021 | school news

The artistic talents of Year 6 student Jessica Martin are featured on the official 2021 City of Onkaparinga Christmas card after her submission was deemed a winner.

Jess was surprised at school by Mayor Erin Thompson who presented her with an amazing prize of $100 of art supplies.

“I was very surprised that my Christmas card won the competition and it was exciting meeting the Mayor. I have already used my art supplies!”

Jess’ design will be featured on the Christmas card with 3 other winners from local schools. Entrants were asked to capture what Christmas in the City of Onkaparinga mean to them. All entries will be displayed in the City of Onkaparinga Noarlunga Office foyer over the Christmas period.

Congratulations to Jess on such a fantastic achievement!
