Meet the team: Pippa, Bianca, Jaicee, Saylah, AJ, Eva, Charlotte, Ruby, Violet, April, and—the person that we couldn’t have done it without—super coach Rachel!

Knockout Round 1

The girls were very pumped for the first round as a new team, still trying to work together to be the best team they possibly could. The first three teams we competed against were, Aldinga, McLaren Flat, and Encounter. The girls smashed the first two games, but started to get a little tired in the third game. We were trying our hardest, but lost by just one goal. The girls were pretty upset.

The mood changed when we found out there was still a chance we could move to the next round. It turns out that three of the four teams had won two of their games as well! So all the coaches of the teams got together to see what to do next, the coaches decided to go down to percentages to decide the winning team. And luckily Port Noarlunga’s team percentage was the highest! The girls were ecstatic and were very excited for the next round!

Knockout Round 2

The next round eventually comes, after what seems like years of waiting. The girls were very excited to play their next three games. The teams we were about to play were Morphett Vale East, Pimpala, and St. Johns. The girls were very excited to play their games. The girls smashed the first game, and the last two were very close, but Port Noarlunga demolished the second round and won all three of their games!

Knockout Round: The Finals!!!

Then finally comes the third and final round, the finals! The girls were so excited because they were about to play at the SA Netball centre! We were trying our hardest, but unfortunately lost all three games.

The girls were pretty disappointed because they had already come this far. But they were still extremely proud because they came 6th in the entire SA!

The team are extremely grateful to have Rachel by their side through all the rounds. Rachel made us the best little netball players we could possibly be.

Thank you so incredibly much Rachel!
