SWORDFISH 2019 Beach Carnival Champions!

Nov 14, 2019 | school events, school info, sport

For the first time since 2009 Swordfish (House colour red) have won an historic PNPS Beach Carnival; the event held annually at Port Noarlunga Beach.

The 2019 Beach Carnival trophy was presented to Swordfish house captains Kayla and Indiana after a challenging morning of team events which saw classes brave wind, rain, and sunshine on an exciting day.

It was the first time since 2009 that Swordfish have won Beach Carnival. It was also the first time ever that two Houses tied for second place, Stingrays & Dolphins making Beach Carnival history.

Staff vs. Students beach volleyball, soccer, team relay, iron girl/boy races, tug-of-war, and bucket races were among the fun beach activities enjoyed by all.

A special thanks to our parent volunteers for assisting in all aspects of our Beach Carnival and helping to make it a day to remember! House Captains also went above and beyond, arriving early and keeping a positive attitude for their teams throughout the day.

2019 Beach Carnival Final Standings:

  • 1ST – SWORDFISH (2510 points)
  • 2nd – Stingrays & Dolphins (2445 points each)
  • 4th – Sharks (2365 points)
